“ As a parent, I was asked by my son's school to produce short promotional videos and photograph school events — and I always found them fascinating projects to work on. I loved the challenge of conveying key information about a school while also capturing a genuine flavour of what it's actually like to be there. That experience inspired me to set up Shoot Video Productions.

How we work
Video Production
We start by understanding your goals, audience, and what you want to capture — with a free, no-obligation call or video meeting to discuss how we can help.
Once agreed, we build a detailed plan covering style, length, key messages, interviewees, and locations, then share a shooting schedule and confirm filming dates.
On the day, we work discreetly and professionally, putting anyone on camera at ease, and capture the shots that bring the school day to life.
We then edit to an agreed deadline — adding music, graphics, and subtitles if needed — send you a draft for review, make final revisions, and deliver the finished video securely in your required format.
Photography
We start by discussing how the photos will be used — website, prospectus, or in-house displays — and agree a wishlist of shots, locations, and a shoot date.
On the day, we work discreetly, professionally and creatively, including any setup shots that convey the school's flavour without showing faces where needed.
Afterwards, we select and edit the best images to your size and format requirements, then deliver them via a secure download link.
Image Safety & Security
This is our highest priority across Video Production and Photography. We work with you to ensure parental permissions are obtained wherever possible before filming or photography begins.
Media is stored securely offline (not in the cloud), retained only for an agreed timeline, and deleted on request. We share media only with pre-agreed contacts, using secure links.
